Artist Exhibitions at Water Street Inn & B&B ~ Lubec, Maine

We like to showcase our local and regional artists and do not require compensation for any sales that occur. We are simply happy to promote these great works of art. However, some artists are represented by galleries and those sales will be handled through those galleries per the individual artist's agreement with their representatives. We will gladly attempt to guide you in the right direction.

The Tavern art also captures the beauty of this area and it's many standout features such as scenes from around Lubec. We have suggested the art be something a visitor would like to take as a remembrance of their experience in Downeast Maine.

Shawn Costello paints landscapes and portraits. She has illustrated several children's books. Shawn lives in Maryland and in Maine. Her website is shawncostello.com. During the summer she teaches art in Lubec. Her school is the Summer Brushes. She is also an art teacher in Maryland.
